Variety - The Children's Charity of Buffalo & Western New York is known for its support of the Robert Warner M.D. Center for Children with Special Needs and the Women's and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. We also support many Western New York children's charities through its annual telethon on WKBW-TV broadcast live from the Adam's Mark Hotel in downtown Buffalo, New York.

Buffalo News Kids Day
Mayor Byron Brown & Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz held a press Conference inside City Hall to read a proclamation that Tuesday April 29th is Buffalo News Kids Day, proceeds to benefit The Variety Kids Telethon, Woman’s and Children’s Hospital. Joining them is 2014 Telethon General Chairman Liz Kuciel, Phil Cantanese of the Buffalo News and Tops Markets.
The special edition Buffalo News Kids Day paper will be available at various locations and street corners around Buffalo including Tops Markets. Papers sold for $1 each. Proceeds of the paper will go to benefit the Variety Kids Telethon.

2014 Celebrity Child - Brandon Steffan
Brandon Steffan is proud to accept the honor of being selected as the Celebrity Child for the 52nd Annual Variety Kids Telethon. Brandon is 6 years old and attends first grade at Dodge Elementary School. Born at 37 weeks, Brandon has had to deal with many challenges in his young life, from dealing with Cerebral Palsy to sensory issues. Brandon and his family live in Getzville, NY. Read more...
